Michał Przepiera – born on April 27, 1974 – has been associated with the local government of Szczecin for over two decades.
Before joining the City Hall team, he gained experience in law firms, consulting companies, and trading enterprises, which allowed him to build a solid foundation in management and legal affairs.
He joined the municipality in June 2002, winning a competition for the position of Head of the Office for Property Transformations. In the following years, he held key positions, including Head of the Owner Supervision Department over Municipal Economy and Director of the Department of Municipal Economy and Environmental Protection. Since 2012, he has been leading the Strategy Office, responsible for the long-term development of the city.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Szczecin. He also completed postgraduate studies in administrative and local government law, an MBA, and European law. He holds the qualifications of Project Implementation Proxy and a PRINCE2 certificate in project management.
Since 2015, he has served as the Deputy Mayor of Szczecin for investments and project management.
He is responsible for the most important developmental processes of the city: coordination of investments, supervision of projects and municipal companies, implementation of the Multi-Year Development Program for Szczecin, as well as activities for revitalization and economic activation.
His responsibilities also include cooperation with businesses and servicing investors, which makes him one of the key architects of contemporary Szczecin.
