Maciej Filip Bukowski, LL.M.

Resident Fellow at the Pulaski Foundation and head of its Energy and Resilience Program.

 

He is also a non-resident fellow in Tech Policy at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and a Research Fellow in the Earth System Governance Project, a global research network on systemic environmental changes.

 

Specializations: ENERGY SECURITY AND ENERGY POLICY, CLIMATE DIPLOMACY, CONNECTIONS BETWEEN CLIMATE AND SECURITY, GEOECONOMICS.

 

In his upcoming doctoral dissertation at Jagiellonian University, he analyzes the geo-economic aspects of clean technology policies in the context of great power competition – the European Union, the United States, and China. He is trained as an international lawyer, a graduate of L’École de Droit de la Sorbonne and Cornell Law School.

 

Maciej worked as a Senior Expert for International Analysis at the National Economy Bank (BGK), where he was responsible for the internationalization of the flagship sustainable development program, and as a Chief Expert at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, coordinating Poland's bilateral and multilateral energy relations. Previously, he practiced international arbitration in leading law firms in Paris and Warsaw and assisted at the Federal Court of International Trade in the United States in New York.
