UNOPS Representative in Poland 

 

Since 2002 he has been associated with the United Nations. From 2002 to 2009 at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), he was responsible, among other things, for international and multilateral cooperation and program development in Europe and Asia. He also worked at the UNDP headquarters in New York and the UNDP headquarters for Europe and CIS countries in Bratislava. From 2009 to 2014, Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Office in Poland. From 2004 to 2021 Country Representative and President of the Council of the UN Global Compact Network Poland - UN GCNP (United Nation’s initiative to coordinate cooperation with business, cities, universities, public administration and NGO’s; read more: ungc.org.pl). Since 2021 Country Representative and Executive Director of UN GCNP. Since 2021 Vice Chairman of the Council of the United Nations Association Poland. From 2023 UNOPS Representative in Poland.

 

Academic lecturer, expert on UN and EU policies, especially in the area of activities at the interface of business, administration and science and the inclusion of the private sector in the implementation of UN goals, policies and standards. 

 

From 2003 to 2006 in a member of the Strategic Group under the UN Deputy Secretary General and UNDP Regional Director for Europe and CIS countries. From 2009 to 2012 member of the Team of Strategic Advisors to the Prime Minister of Poland. On behalf of the Team of Advisors to the Prime Minister, among other things, he he coworked on the development of the Long-Term Strategy for National Development to 2030 and coordinated the Human Capital Development Strategy to 2020. In 2014, on the Board of Experts of the National Center for Research and Development on innovation in the economy and social Innovation. In 2016, among the members of the innovation team at the Ministry of Development. In 2019, advisor to the Minister of Investment and Development. From 2019 to 2023, expert of the Senate of the Republic of Poland on international affairs, development aid and climate policies. From 2019 to 2022 advisor to the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.
