Doctor of humanities, graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw, the Higher Police School in Szczytno, and pedagogy at the Agricultural and Technical University in Olsztyn, inspector of the Polish police in retirement. In the past, he was a long-time spokesperson for the Polish Police. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw, as well as a partner in the public relations agency – Prostrategic Communication.
In 2001, he obtained a doctorate in humanities in the field of history from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn based on his dissertation titled “The Police and Society in the Interwar Period.” Until 2003, he was a research and teaching employee at the Higher Police School in Szczytno, and until 2013 – an assistant at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Until 2016, he was a lecturer at the Polish University of the Humanities - Higher School in Warsaw. Since 2013, he has been a research and teaching employee at the University of Warsaw. He was first an assistant at the Institute of Political Science at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw, and then – from 2016 to the present – he has been an assistant at the Department of Security Sciences at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies.
In 2011, he completed training in “Leadership and Management in Public Benefit Organizations” at the College of Justice and Judicial Sciences at the University of New Haven (USA).
From 2004 to 2007, he was the spokesperson for the commander of the capital city and then until August 2015 - the spokesperson for the chief commander of the Police. During 12 years of service in these positions, he led the Polish Police operations “Media” during the largest events in the country, such as: the European Economic Summit in 2004, the Council of Europe Summit in 2005, the UEFA Euro 2012, and the Men's Volleyball World Championship in 2014. He is a laureate of the prestigious award in the first edition of the “PRotony” competition in the category of “Spokesperson.” In 2012, he was honored with the “Lion of PR” award, which is awarded by the Polish Public Relations Association to individuals with significant professional achievements who demonstrate an innovative approach to work and uphold the highest level of professional ethics. In 2010, he was nominated “for competent and consistent building of a positive image of the Police in a country where the uniform is still associated very badly and for his activity in the media and availability for journalists” to the top three of the prestigious “Człowieka Briefu 2010” competition in the category of “PR Person of Brief 2010.”
For years, he has been engaged in activities to improve and promote safety, initiating and leading numerous preventive actions and programs involving representatives of all age groups: children, youth, adults, and seniors.
The social campaigns that he co-organized and supported could be listed in hundreds. Among them are among others: “Stop 18,” “Safe Road with Sponge Bob's Advice,” “Drank? Don’t Drive!”, “Masters in Seatbelts,” “Don’t Call While Driving.” In 2010, he was the initiator and organizer of the police campaign “Use Your Imagination,” aimed at improving road safety. The campaign was awarded the prestigious “Effie Awards 2010,” which is given as part of one of the most important marketing competitions in the world.
He has collaborated and continues to collaborate with the academic community, representatives of the justice system, and organizations, among others, with “Blue Line,” “Itaka,” “WOŚP,” and “La Strada” – his mission was to activate all those for whom the safety of citizens is important.
Currently, he is a partner at Prostrategic Communication - a Public Relations agency.
